For our client, a company belonging to a multinational group operating in the construction, mining, marine and industrial engine sectors, we are looking for a Marine Product Support Manager in Croatia.

Principali responsabilità
  • Develop and revise the business plan, including budgets, manpower, and resources.
  • Forecast estimated revenue and expenses, based on historical data and environmental changes.
  • Create, monitor, and manage annual budgets and objectives for the Parts and Service Department.
  • Identify service opportunities and maintain/improve market share.
  • Ensure quality repair work, customer satisfaction, and investigate/resolve customer complaints.
  • Manage service policy, goodwill, and warranty.
  • Approve sales terms, discounts, and delivery time.
  • Supervise and evaluate staff performance, addressing skill gaps and implementing tailored training.
  • Manage day-to-day performance of employees, motivating, coaching, and taking appropriate action to resolve performance issues.
  • Propose, deploy, monitor, and improve promotional programs.
  • Propose and justify investments through detailed business cases.
  • Interview and select new hires following company and group procedures.
  • Manage daily workflow, establish operating procedures, and resolve work assignment conflicts.
  • Manage assets/tools, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and safety standards.
  • Promote safety and environmental responsibility within the department.
  • Develop and communicate a coverage plan, evaluating the market against competitors through SWOT analysis.
  • Maintain proper stock of parts to maximize machine availability and meet desired ROI.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with suppliers and representatives.
  • Provide positive leadership examples across all business areas.
  • Review processes for improvement: collaborate with the company General Manager to address overdue terms and implement preventive actions, establish rules for exceeding limits.
Principali caratteristiche richieste
  • At least secondary technical education (preferably Machine Engineering).
  • At least 5 years’ experience in the industry.
  • Knowledge of machines, technology, and industry.
  • Highly developed managing and business skills; result-oriented.
  • Strong communication skills for internal and external interactions.
  • Project leadership and people development capabilities.
  • Good command of English and computer literacy.
  • Valid driving license.

Desired Extra:

  • Previous experience in managing post-sales departments.
  • Operational knowledge of machines and work-tools.
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems.
  • Working knowledge of Service Information System (SIS) and Dealer Channel Entry System (DCES) parts module or equivalent systems.
