Hunters Group, a Headhunting Company, is looking for a Regulatory Specialist (Categorie Protette ex Art. 1 Legge 68/99) for the implementation of the legal department of an important Multinational Group operating in the Automotive sector with headquarters in Turin.
The Regulatory Affairs Specialist, reporting to the Head of Italy, will be responsible for:
- Providing advice on contract law, commercial law, corporate law, import/export and distribution law, product warranty and product liability, insolvency law, manufacturer, and homologation regulations, etc.
- Being ready to embrace all necessary challenges and opportunities coming from digitalization to improve efficiency.
- Drafting, reviewing with a practical and critical approach, and negotiating with both internal clients/colleagues and third parties, contracts, and documents such as: whole goods, components and/or spare parts supply agreements; framework supply agreements; authorized workshop agreements; loan and permanent loan agreements and any other commercial agreements.
- Monitoring, reviewing, amending, implementing the standard forms of sale and related contracts in English and/or Italian languages.
- Handling any litigation (supported by external law firms as necessary).
- Managing relationships with external law firms when necessary, including their selection and tariff negotiation (according to internal policies and delegation of authority limits).
- Giving support to, and coordinating with, the Compliance and Ethics Department
The ideal candidate has the following characteristics:
- Fluent in written and spoken English (mandatory); familiarity/fluency in other languages is a plus.
- Law degree
- Legal experience in international law firm/s and/or as in-house counsel in multinational group/s with specific emphasis on corporate and regulatory matters, contract negotiation, drafting, interpretation and contract process management, including previous legal experience in several of the above-described substantive areas of law.
- Ability to draft and negotiate (in Italian and English) contracts and other legal documents, with practical approach and critical review.
- Very good knowledge of MS Office applications Word, Excel, PPT.
- Demonstrated/safeguarding ethics and integrity and analytical, structured with good attention to details.
The level of employment will be evaluated in the interview process. There will be an internal canteen and 12 days of remote work per month.
