For an international company active in technical services to support TV broadcasters located in West Rome, we are looking for a NOC Control Room Operator.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitor telecommunications/ broadcasting systems, supervise the technical components’ functions and make sure that they are active and problem-free;
• Customer support – act as the initial point of contact for all the company’s clients;
• Troubleshoot and fix technical issues;
• Accountable for managing events and ensuring that they are resolved, while maintaining a detailed record of the problems and methods used to solve them;
• Manage escalation process until resolution, including coordination with in-house engineers and third parties;
• Manage and coordinate technical maintenances related to the company’s distribution services;
• Monitor and operate, if needed, facility air-conditioning, UPS, generators etc.
• Work on a shift rotation basis, on a 24/7 basis.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS/ADVANTAGES:

• European Union citizenship or valid working permit;
• Knowledge of English – a must;
• Computer skills;
• Candidate has preferably technical background from one of the following: ICT, RF, satellites, networks, electronics, video and/or sound;
• Engineering studies will be considered an advantage;
• Technical or customer support experience will be considered an advantage;
• Having a car will be considered and advantage;
